Waterfall

The Waterfall chart type uses 2 series of data (columns) and maps them starting with the first row/column cell being the starting point and the first row second column cell being the ending point.  All the other values differences between the first and second columns are mapped between the start and the end with an automatic “_Other” column being created where the difference between the two values in the first row does not equal the sum of the differences of the other row value pairs.

In the example below, Corporate Actual is the starting point and Corporate Budget is the ending point and all the values of the difference between actual and budget are mapped as intermediate values with an automatic “_Other” column being created because there is a discrepancy bewteen the numbers
