Configuration for LDAP¶

The LDAP server settings are in the Server Configuration Administration page.

These values are set at installation but can be updated at any time.

LDAP Connection String¶

The server configuration stores the LDAP connection string and account details as shown below:

The format of this string is:

LDAP://<domain>

e.g.

A root connection to your Active Directory would look like this, LDAP://mydomain.local

A connection to a subset of your Active Directory would look like this, LDAP://mydomain.local/OU=Sydney,OU=Global,DC=mydomain,DC=local

You will need to update the Active Directory (LDAP) Username and Password with an account that has read/query access to your Active Directory.
