Hierarchy Types¶
There are three types of hierarchies to be seen in CALUMO. These are tabled below with the icon that CALUMO uses to represent them

Attribute hierarchy | A flat list of members - the cube provides totals on rows or columns (or filter by on the slice) |

User-defined hierarchy | A collection of attribute hierarchies with a relationship that form a tree |

Parent-child hierarchy | A particular type of hierarchy with varying levels of depth and no particular meaning to each level. The parent-child hierarchy can also be described as ragged |
