Customising Your Report in Excel: Hiding Rows and Columns

Once you have sent your view to Excel, a feature you may want to use is the Excel “hide” row and column function so that these “behind the scenes” details don’t appear on the final published report.

  1. On your Excel worksheet, highlight the data you wish to hide
  2. Right-click to show a drop-down menu
  3. Choose the Hide option from the drop-down menu

Your header is now hidden
